1) The tag can be read and downloaded at 10-15 cm, just like a barcode but through carton, polystyrene and other packaging material.

2) Due to the wireless downloading, the tag can be read without affecting the main packaging: it represents a huge labor savings.

3) A key benefit: the disposable version of the tag, approved by lead insurance companies, cannot be reprogrammed or erased. However, it can be read and downloaded countless times -- as many downloads as the customer wants. Unlike standard data loggers, that can be read only once and then stop recording, the ThermAssureRF allows a full control of the cold chain and continuous downloads (precooling, cooling, trucking, shipping, export, receiving, even to the supermarket or retailer).

4) The tag is fully sealed in plastic and therefore, it is 100% water resistant.

5) Real time temperature data is dubbed "X-ray Thermometer" since it gives proof of temperature of INSIDE package prior to changing hands and ownership.
